I have seen my father waiting for sometime at the gate waiting till someone come and open the gate for him when he comes back from work. So I thought of building a gate to a model house which can be opened automatically when the car is near by. I could do this using an Ultrasonic Sound Sensor and a Servo motor.
Few weeks back one of our neighbor’s house caught on fire and they lost everything they had. I was so shocked to see this and I wanted to think of a way to let people know when a fire starts or when there is a gas leak in their house. I could do this by using a Flame Sensor and a MQ2 Gas Sensor.
When it rains I have seen my mother sometimes forget that there were clothes put on to dry outside. So I wanted to find a way to set a reminder when it starts raining. I could do this using a Raindrop Sensor. Since it plays a buzzer sound now we all are reminded of this and we can get the clothes back inside in time.
I have heard that the electricity bill at our house is too much. I have noticed that sometimes we all forget to switch off the lights when we do not need them. Plus Our garden lights keep on lit at day time as well; because we forget to switch them off. And when we go out some days there is no one to switch on the garden lights and our house is too dark. I wanted to come up with a solution for this and I managed to do that using a Photo-resister Sensor and a PIR Sensor.
My project is all about my experiences and my thoughts on how I can change my world using my coding knowledge.
