My project is the narration of a story about a blind man Rahul. He has a book reading habit, but in a car accident he lost his eyesight and due to that now he is not able to read any books, but he did not want blindness to obstruct his reading.
So he visits the public library and asks for help but sadly leaves the library as no one is available to help.
While walking on a road he stops and starts thinking that “no one is helping him, how will he read the book?” Suddenly a girl comes and ask him that “Did he want any help?” Then Rahul tells him that he wants to read a book, but due to blindness, he is not able to read.
She helps him and takes him to another library that has a device that can convert any book into audio format. Optical character recognition is used in the device, to accurately read the book
Advantages:-
- By this project, all books can be converted into audiobooks.
- A blind person can get this device at home or even some libraries can create a special room where a blind person can hear the audio using this method.
- It will help bind people to get knowledge from each and every book
